Tour description:
The journey takes us from the agreed starting point to Stopića Cave, which has one of the widest cave entrances in Serbia. Stopića Cave is located on the northeastern side of Mount Zlatibor, between the villages of Rožanstvo and Trnava, and is known for the natural phenomenon of travertine pools, which represent the most interesting part of this cave.
After visiting the cave, the next stop is the open-air museum, the ethno-village of Sirogojno, representing a typical household from the Zlatibor region at the beginning of the twentieth century. Here, you will become acquainted with the traditional way of life in an authentic environment of typical Zlatibor architecture, customs, and the construction style of such self-sustainable communities. Sirogojno is renowned for its weavers, so you'll have the opportunity to purchase handmade sweaters, socks, hats, and gloves made of wool.
The village of Gostilje is a 20-minute drive from Sirogojno. Known for its hospitable and friendly people who have made every effort to make another attraction we will visit accessible to visitors. In Gostilje, you'll find one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Serbia. The 22-meter-high waterfall continues its cascades for almost a hundred meters down to the Katušnica River, accompanied by a well-maintained trail with resting places for enjoying the surroundings. Legend has it that fairies bathe under this waterfall at night.
The return journey is through the wooded landscapes of the village of Gostilje, passing through the Nevolja viewpoint, from where we continue along a picturesque route with incredible landscapes of a part of Zlatibor that you can only see on postcards.
When making a reservation, if there are three of you, the third person is free of charge. You only need to enter two people in the reservation, and mention the name of the third person in the notes!
