Tour description:
Departure from Novi Sad at 9:00 AM in front of your hotel or by prior arrangement.
We are heading towards Srem and the village of Banoštor. On our way to Banoštor, our first stop will be at the Beočin Monastery, known for its miraculous icon of the Holy Mother of God. The monastery is nestled in the beautiful greenery on the slopes of Fruška Gora, enhancing the experience with its tranquility and special serenity. We are confident that you will enjoy the beauty of the monastery and the surrounding nature. After the monastery visit, we will continue our journey slowly towards the village of Banoštor, one of the oldest settlements in Vojvodina. Tucked away on the northern slopes of Fruška Gora, right on the Danube River, this village has been known for its fine wine and fishing for centuries. Due to its favorable geographical location, soil quality, proximity to the Danube, microclimate, and the reflection of the sun from the Danube's surface, grapes here ripen earlier and have one to two percent more sugar compared to other wine regions in Vojvodina. Our first hosts will welcome us at the Šijački family winery. They produce about 100,000 liters of wine here annually, which is carefully stored in a cellar right by the Danube's shore. All the wines can be described as exceptionally fresh and fruity. In this winery, we will have a tasting of 3 wine labels accompanied by snacks.

After a short break and enjoying the wine flavors, we continue our journey to our next hosts at the Quet winery. The specific terrain and the location above the Danube, apart from offering an exceptional view, provide the grapes with the "three suns," as the super-premium wine line of this winery is called. In this winery, we will have a tasting of 3 wine labels accompanied by snacks.
Near the Quet winery, you will find the fantastic Atos restaurant. Here, we will take a longer break because it is worth every moment of enjoyment. This amazing complex undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful views of the Danube in the entire Srem region and beyond.
