Tour description:
The Palilula group consists of six tourist sites, located along the entire southern part of Niš. Although in some places these locations are distant from each other, they form clear monumental composition that forms the southern branch of the T-Zone. As with the Nišava Group, this group is rich in landmarks that give special pedigree to the cultural and historical identity of this city (Archeological site Mediana, Skull Tower, Memorial Park Bubanj...). The particular characteristic of this group is that its central part is located in Palilula, the oldest part of Niš which during the Ottoman period (1386-1878) preserved the Christian and Serbian identity with all the sights that follow such character.
