Resavska cave

The Resava Cave is a protected natural monument. It is among the largest and most beautiful caves in Serbia and is one of the most important tourist caves in Serbia. It is located in eastern Serbia, Gornja Resava, Divljačkovo polje, under the crown of Baba's head and belongs to the territory of the municipality of Despotovac, atar of the village of Jelovac. It is 152 km from the capital Belgrade, 20 km from Despotovac and 5 km from the village of Jelovac. Its altitude is 483 m. The area intended for protection is 10.87 ha and includes the immediate surroundings of the cave, on a slope that descends from 120 meters above the entrance to the bottom of Divljakovačka bay.
