Zlatarsko jezero or Kokin Brod lake is an artificial lake in the Uvac valley, 54 km from the mouth of the river Lim. It is located between the mountains Zlatara in the southwest and Zlatibor in the northeast, ten kilometers from Nova Varoš. The lake was created by the construction of the "Kokin Brod" hydropower plant, which dammed the Uvac river near the town of the same name. Zlatar Lake is the third largest in Serbia, right after Đerdap Lake and Lake Perućac on the Drina. Due to its unreal beauty and emerald-green color of the water, the lake has become one of the most popular tourist destinations, both for domestic and foreign tourists.
