Ljubostinja Monastery is located near Trstenik, northeast of Vrnjačka Banja. It is located in the valley of the Ljubostinjska River and is the endowment of Princess Milica. It is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built in 1405. In Ljubostinja, princess Milica (monastic name Jevgenija), wife of prince Lazar and nun Yefimija (Jefronisija), who became monks here after the Kosovo battle, along with numerous widows of Serbian lords who died in the battles of Marica and Kosovo field, are buried in Ljubostinja. Today, Ljubostinja is a women's monastery guarded and maintained by about fifty nuns. Ljubostinja Monastery is a cultural monument of exceptional importance.
