Because of the 7 lakes, Bela Crkva is called the city of lakes. In 1904, excavation and exploitation of gravel began in the area of ​​Bela Crkva. By extracting gravel for industrial use, artificial lakes were created, now they represent one of the main attractions of the municipality. Observed as a whole, Belocrkvanska jezera are characterized by stable shorelines and slight fluctuations in the level of the water mirror. Each of the lakes has its own specific charm; some come for the hidden and quiet beaches, some for fun and good fun, fishermen for the "two-meter" fish, surfers and sailors for the wind they long for forever.
