Abstract:
Tara Canyoning on the White Rzav River is an unforgettable adventure that begins in the village of Zaovine on Tara Mountain. The canyon stretches for about two and a half kilometres and encompasses an area of the highest level of nature protection. We will descend through the limestone gorge of the river towards the territory of Mokra Gora, where this stream merges with the Black Rzav and continues further to Višegrad, where it flows into the Drina River.Activities:

Tour description:
Tara Canyoning involves hiking through the canyon and the access trail, as well as the exit trail, which is approximately 8 kilometers long. The duration of the tour is from five to six hours, and the starting and ending point is the same: the old school of Luka in Zaovine. Along the way, you will pass through mountain villages where you can buy natural juices, brandy, and honey.
Passing through this section is a unique experience of hiking, swimming, cliff jumping, and descending down the rocks with the help of special equipment. You will encounter high cliffs, waterfalls, numerous whirlpools, and a river rich in trout.
The tour is led by experienced local guides, and all necessary equipment is provided for guests, including wetsuits, rappelling and safety gear, as well as dry bags for clothing.
