Abstract:
Two days tour and one day of rafting with a ride from Novi Sad and Belgrade. Safe rafting by the longest route in the region. Accommodation in the new and well equipped camp.Department third Friday of the month from Novi Sad and Belgrade.Activities:
-Going down the most attractive parts of Tara river,-Rafting down Drina river
-Visits to Visegrad and Andricgrad, and the etno-village Drvengrad on the Mecavnik.
Tour description:
Longest rafting route in the area, after 18 km of ride on the most attractive part of Tara river and a bonus of 13km on Drina river.
Day one (Friday)
Departure of bus or minibus (depends on the number of travelers), at 15:30 from Novi Sad from parking of railway station (next to "Stara lokomotiva"). Departure for Belgrade where we should pick up the rest of travelers at 17:00. We continue the road to short break at Rudnik, and also one longer in the restaurant "Kod Loja" on Zlatibor. Arrival at camp. Taking the accomodation keys. Sleeping.
Dar two (Saturday)
Rich breakfast, (homemade specialities). Picking rafting equipment at camp (neoprene suites, neoprene boots, safety belts and helmets). Transport with our jeeps to Brstanovica - the start of rafting (enght of ride from camp to the beginning spot of rafting is 50km). The time rafting tour lasts is 3,5-4,5 hours and it depends of water altitude and lenght of breaks you take during rafting. Generally, the set off from camp is at 10.00 and return to camp is usually until 17:00 o'clock. Skipper will give you short instructions for safe and fun tour. Going down the most attractive parts of two rivers, alongside the sightseeing of beautifull waterfalls with height of about 20 meters. Breaks during rafting on places that are convinient for rest, taking pictures and swimming.
Arrival at the place where Tara meets Piva, where Drina river comes to existance. From that place there is 15 more kilometres of rafting until our camp "Stari dud". Arrival at camp, returning the equipment.Lunch (homemade specialities). After lunch, set off to Belgrade and Novi Sad.
First break during the trip is in Visegrad. Visit to "Andricgrad' that originated as the idea of professor Emir Kusturica, about a stone middle-aged city inspired by the creations of our Nobel winning writer Ivo Andric, and also visiting the famous bridge "Na Drini cuprija". After we cross the country border, next break is predicted at "Etno selo Drvengrad", which is located on the Mecavnik close to Mokra Gora. It was also built by the idea of movie director Emir Kusturica for the needs of the movie "Life is a miracle".
Continuing the road to Belgrade and Novi Sad. Arrival at the destination late at night.
