Meeting at lake Perućac at 08.20, control of travel documents, boarding the boat.
Departure at 09.00. Driving through the canyon of the Drina river to Višegrad. On our 52 km long sailing, we will enjoy in a beaty of nature, in habitats of wild life in Tara National Park, the mouth of river Žepa, ...we will pass the narrowest part of the canyon, the camp Stari Brod ( Old Boat ), also some small springs and rivers, medieval fortifications,... Arrival at Višegrad around 12.30, spare time for visit of the old bridge of Mehmed Paša Sokolović, Andrićgrad (Andrić’s town), Višegrad …Situated in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on both banks of the River Rzav, on the spot where the river flows into the Drina, lies the town of Višegrad. The town’s greatest attraction is the bridge over the Drina built by Mehmed Pasha Sokolović in 1571, a bridge described in the Nobel prize winning novel The Bridge on the Drina, written by the Serbian novelist Ivo Andrić. In 2014 Andrić Town was opened for visitors in Višegrad, as a visitor, cultural and educational centre based on an idea by film director Emir Kusturica, inspired by the literary characters of Ivo Andrić. Its architecture is a mix of different eras and styles that passed throughout Višegrad history: the Byzantine style, the Ottoman period, the Renaissance and Classicism.Spare time.
