During your stay in Novi Sad, you will get acquainted with the interesting history of the city, discover the hidden secrets of the Petrovaradin Fortress, and the places that the locals love the most. The accommodation we have chosen for you is located in the heart of Novi Sad, near Pasiceva Street, where there are several of the best restaurants in the city. There are also many places for nightlife nearby.
Day 1 (Friday):
Novi Sad from another angle
After a short break, we take you on a tour and exploring the city. Through the stories of our guide, you will learn more about important personalities who left an indelible mark on the history and culture of this city, which is why it was nicknamed Serbian Athens. We end our stroll in an authentic Vojvodina restaurant in the city center, where you will enjoy traditional Vojvodina specialties and tamburitza music. Overnight.
Day 2 (Saturday):
Gallery Square, Petrovaradin Fortress and Strand Beach
Departure to Gallery Square where we will visit the famous Matica Srpska gallery. It is one of the most valuable collections of Serbian national art from the 16th to the 20th century. With about 500 works of art exhibited in a permanent exhibition, you will have the opportunity to gain an idea of the development of the Serbian art of recent times.
At the end of the tour, we will walk to the quay and take a break in one of the restaurants/cafes from where there is a beautiful view of the Petrovaradin Fortress and the Danube. There you will hear an interesting story about Novi Sad bridges. Then we continue over the "Rainbow" bridge, then to the Petrovaradin Fortress, the second largest fortification in Europe. Free time for lunch in one of the restaurants on the terrace of the fortress from where spreads an amazing view of the Danube and the whole city.
If you wish, there is the possibility of visiting the city museum, the Great War Well and the art galleries at the fortress. During the day or in the evening we suggest a visit to the famous Novi Sad beach Strand. You will experience an unforgettable atmosphere, especially if you welcome the sunset on a catamaran that sails upstream from Strand to Rakovac's Dunavc and then descends downstream next to the Petrovaradin Fortress to the place of departure. Dinner in one of the restaurants of your choice with our recommendation. Overnight.
For the rest three days, we offer the opportunity to tailor them to your needs, by choosing one of the offered programs. For each program, it is necessary to gather a minimum of eight passengers, however, if you come in a group of more than eight people, we can change the program and adapt it to your requirements.
